Paris is the world of baguettes, pain au chocolat, croissants, chocolatine, brioché pain aux noix, la flûte, bread, bread and more bread. And damn, the French bread looks so good! What I love about France is that in every corner you can find a boulangerie and on the flip side, there are some gluten-free bakeries in Paris where a celiac can enjoy of all this happiness.
Living a gluten-free lifestyle has opened up an entirely new way of eating and cooking. I experimented with gluten-free baking flours (amaranth, coconut, brown rice) that I never knew existed.
Note: This post will be updated regularly to keep it current, suggestions for new places to add to the list are always welcome!
My celiac corners:
1) Helmut Newcake
This was the first patisserie that offered traditional cakes 100% gluten-free. The creators Marie & François wanted to offer pastry, bread and dishes to all gourmands with celiac problems.
Their pastries are really divine and you can’t guess that it’s gluten-free. The location is just perfect, near L’église de la Madeleine. Also, you can enjoy brunch and lunch over there.

Every day, in the heart of the old Popincourt village area of Paris, Nathaniel Doboin and Thomas Teffri-Chambelland bake exclusive recipes using rice and other flours, all naturally gluten-free.
Chambelland has a beautiful display case full of pastries, cookies and breads; and like bubu said “it’s hard to believe they are gluten-free”

3) Un dimanche à Paris
This chocolatier and pâtisserie is run by Pierre Cluizel of the renowned chocolate-making family. So, if you are a chocoholic like me, this should be your next stop it’s a little bit expensive but it’s too fancy.
